    The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and Bootleg Beatles have rescheduled their And In the End concert for 2021.     Tate Liverpool reopening plans revealed

    Tate Liverpool has reopened to the public. The Royal Albert Dock attraction closed in March alongside other arts venues at the start of the coronavirus pandemic lockdown.     Liverpool Central Docks will host a series of ‘drive-in’ live music shows this summer with big names performing on the city’s waterfront.     Shakespeare North and BBC stage new writing competition

    Children and young people are being given the chance to see their work staged at the new Shakespeare North Playhouse in a competition backed by Dame Judi Dench. The theatre – currently being built at Prescot - has teamed up with BBC’s The One Show to launch As You Write It, Your Play on Stage.     Chester Storyhouse has announced plans to reopen its doors as early as July 4 – if allowed to by the Government.     Festival 31 goes online for 2020 with special art commissions

    A festival celebrating refugee art and culture has gone online for 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic. The launch of Festival 31, an annual event organised by Liverpool-based art charity SOLA Arts, coincides with National Refugee Week.     The Festival of Reggae is the latest annual Liverpool event to axe its 2020 dates because of the Coronavirus pandemic. The Positive Vibration festival was due to have been held this weekend in the Baltic Triangle.     Chester Storyhouse is urging the Government to produce guidance now over the reopening of theatres before venues run out of time and close for good. The call came as the organisation today announced Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre will not take place in Chester this summer.
