    Travel the world in new exhibition at Victoria Gallery & Museum

    Travel, memory and belonging are at the heart of the latest exhibition at the Victoria Gallery and Museum. Cork-born Fion Gunn’s Arrival/Departures, running until December 23, is part of a year-long artistic residency within the University of Liverpool’s Institute of Irish Studies.     Serious nonsense is the order of the day in Prescot next month as part of Knowsley’s Borough of Culture celebrations. A three-day Serious Nonsense Festival takes over the town and its new Shakespeare North Playhouse to mark the links between Knowsley and the poet and painter Edward Lear.     The Everyman and Playhouse will stage three world premieres in the first full season under its new creative director Suba Das.     Maisie Adam launches tour with Liverpool Laughterhouse date

    Comedian Maisie Adam is bringing her new live stand-up show to Liverpool this September. The 28-year-old will perform Buzzed at the Laughterhouse at Slaughterhouse in Fenwick Street on September 15 at the start of a 32-date autumn tour.     Open Air tour for Off The Ground Theatre this summer

    Off the Ground Theatre is bringing its new production of Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost to open air venues in Wirral and Liverpool this summer. The West Kirby based theatre company planned to first present the poetic comedy two years ago, but it had to be postponed because of the pandemic.     Tate Liverpool is staging a thought-provoking and topical installation by South African artist Candice Brice.
