    Fact brings Cinema in the City to Liverpool this summer

    FACT is taking cinema out of its Wood Street building and spreading screenings across Liverpool city centre locations and beyond this summer. Cinema in the City screenings will be staged at hidden sites throughout the city region from the start of July and will showcase the best independent cinema as well as emerging talent from local filmmakers.     The world premiere tour of Sir Matthew Bourne’s The Midnight Bell is coming to the Liverpool Playhouse this autumn. The New Adventures piece, set in 1930s Soho, will be staged at the Williamson Square theatre from October 19-23 as part of a wider UK tour. Tickets are on general sale now.     A new Liverpool art trail which focuses on the future predicted impact of climate change will be launched as part of 2021 LightNight tonight.
