LIMF reveals its 2019 festival line-up at Sefton Park


Hip-hop pioneers De La Soul, BRIT nominees Sigma and chart-topper Ella Eyre are among the line-up announced for this year’s Liverpool International Music Festival.

Maverick Sabre, NAO, Yxng Bane, Liverpool r ‘n’ b collective Mic Lowry and Kenny Dope will also appear at the festival in Sefton Park in July.

And there will a live label 30th anniversary showcase from 3Beat Records as part of the two-day event.

Meanwhile LIMF Academy performers will be present across a number of stages including rising star of the electronic pop scene LUNA, singer-songwriter Raheem Alameen, and contemporary R&B musician KYAMI as well acclaimed Liverpool bands and artists Eyesore & The Jinx, Bill Nickson and Pizzagirl.

The announcement follows news that the South Liverpool park will also play host to a Disco Classical with Sister Sledge featuring Kathy Sledge.

LIMF music curator Yaw Owasu said: “Amidst a stellar set of music events in Liverpool this year, I’m glad that again LIMF is able to do what it does best as it presents an accessible, inclusive and musically diverse line up that continues to be a platform for great performers and performances and truly reflects what’s happening here in Liverpool.

"Seven years in, it really feels like LIMF is hitting its stride and continually pushing the agenda.

“I look forward to seeing many people from across the city, the country and further afield, come together to enjoy great music in Sefton Park at LIMF 2019.”

LIMF 2019 takes place on July 20-21 and early bird tickets (up to May 31) for the festival are £6 HERE
