New Let It Be Beatles show heads for Liverpool

Beatles stage extravaganza Let It Be is returning to the Liverpool Empire with a new and extended show.

Producer Jeff Parry has reconfigured the production to create Let It Be: A Celebration of the Music of the Beatles, with the Fab Four catalogue presented from Love Me Do onwards in a packed musical helter skelter first half.

The second part of the evening features solo work from the Beatles, who are seen in 1980 as if they had enjoyed a reunion, playing in ‘the concert that never was’.

Parry says: “The second half of the new Let It Be brings an emotional response, as this gives the audience something they never have seen, a reunion which could have been.”

The original Let It Be has been seen by more than two million people worldwide, and has previously visited both the Empire and Liverpool’s Royal Court.

Let It Be is at the Liverpool Empire from September 3-8. Tickets from the website HERE
