Go Around the World in 80 Days at the Playhouse

Puck promised to ‘put a girdle round about the earth in 40 minutes’.
But he’s a sprite, not a human. For the rest of us however there’s a chance to go Around the World in 80 Days at the Liverpool Playhouse….in two hours 35 minutes, including interval.
Eight actors take on 125 characters in an irresistibly madcap evening of entertainment from the New Vic (in association with Manchester’s Royal Exchange).
Adventurer Phileas Fogg is the eccentric guide on this half-term global adventure, accompanied by his loyal servant Passepartout as he leaves the grey skies of Victorian London for the colourful sub-continent and wild, Wild West.
The imaginative and high-spirited telling of Jules Verne's classic story includes six trains, five boats, four fights, three dances, two circus acts. And an elephant.
Around The World in 80 Days is at the Liverpool Playhouse on October 27-28. Tickets from the website HERE.
