Curious Incident returns to the Liverpool Empire

The National Theatre’s acclaimed and award-winning The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time charmed Liverpool Empire audiences in 2015.

And now it’s back to do the same again, with the UK touring production of the show returning to Lime Street this month.

Half-Liverpudlian, half-Glaswegian Scott Reid shares leading man duties as Christopher Boone, the 15-year-old with the extraordinary brain who is exceptional at maths but struggles to interpret every day life.

When his neighbour’s dog is found dead, and he falls under suspicion, he sets out to discover just who did kill Wellington, and also to discover more about himself in a journey that turns his world upside down.

Simon Stephens adapted Mark Haddon’s best-selling book, and the play is directed by Marianne Elliott, with design by Bunny Christie.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time is at the Liverpool Empire from July 25-29. Tickets HERE.
