St Helens Panto goes live online for Christmas Eve

St Helens Theatre Royal will live stream its festive panto online tomorrow in a Christmas Eve treat for children of all ages.

The 1.30pm performance of Beauty and the Beast will be broadcast direct from the theatre to audiences at home. Tickets cost £20 per device meaning the whole family can tune in for one price.

The magical story stars Jamie Greer as Potty Polly, Abigail Middleton as Madame Botox, Scott Gallagher as French Frank, Olivia Sloyan as Belle, Andrew Geater as The Beast, Tim Lucas as Gaston and Jenna Sian O’Hara as Fairy Rose.

The show, written by Liam Mellor, is directed by Chantelle Nolan with choreography by Nazene Langfield and Callum Clarke as musical supervisor.

Chantelle Nolan said: “Due to social distancing, we’ve had to reduce the capacity of seats on sale for our panto this year, which means shows are selling out faster than ever, and with some audiences restricted in Tier 3, or having to self-isolate they are unable to visit us at the theatre.

“This is the perfect opportunity to get some festive cheer and allow people to enjoy the experience of live theatre from their own homes.”

Beauty and the Beast runs at the theatre until January 3. The live stream online is on December 24 at 1.30pm. Details and tickets from the website HERE
