Lemo tell you a story at Royal Court Studio

Writer and actor Shaun Connor Bailey brings his one-man show to the Royal Court Studio in September.

Get Rich or Nicked Tryin’ was originally staged at the Hope Street theatre in 2022.

One little line of Lemo never ruined anybody’s life, did it? James Kinsella, aka Jaybomb, loses his job at the Giro in Bootle after a long three weeks.

Sick to death of working nine to five, Jaybomb finally knocks at his kid’s house and embarks on a hip-hop drug dealing journey.

While in the middle of all the money and fame it brings, Jay meets the love of his life, Izzy. Until one night and one little line of Lemo!

Bailey is a postgraduate of the East 15 Acting School, and started writing after attending workshops. He was also involved in last year’s BBC Writersroom Write Across Liverpool initiative.

The show, presented by Pat Raft Productions, is directed by Richard Platt.
