Kacey Ainsworth joins Royal Court Liverpool summer show cast

Kacey Ainsworth is set to join the cast of Mam I’m ‘Ere! at the Royal Court this summer.

The former EastEnders – and current Grantchester – star will play Brenda in the returning show which will be staged from June 10 to July 9.

She will join Royal Court regulars Michael Fletcher, Lynn Francis, Lindzi Germain, Mia Molloy, Andrew Schofield, Hayley Sheen and Alan Stocks.

Ainsworth, who last appeared on stage in Liverpool as Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd at the Everyman, has responded to the announcement by tweeting: “Disco musical anyone? Don’t mind if I do.

“So great to be heading back to Liverpool this summer for a fabulous musical written and directed by the multi-talented Stephen Fletcher.”
