Father Christmas storytelling in the Imaginarium big top

Father Christmas has returned to the Imaginarium Roundhouse in Prescot for some special seasonal storytelling.

Santa’s storytelling magic is spreading Christmas cheer among young audiences and their families every weekend until December 24 – with more shows added for Christmas week itself.

The 45-minute shows take place at 12.30pm, 2pm and 4pm each Saturday and Sunday, with a relaxed performance on Sunday, December 18.

Tickets are £10 per person and little ones under the age of two go free. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult.

There is also candyfloss, popcorn and hot and cold refreshments available from the neighbouring Imaginarium Bistro.

Imaginarium’s artistic director Gaynor La Rocca says: “We’re thrilled to have Father Christmas Storytelling show back at the Imaginarium Roundhouse after the runaway success of last year.

“We loved seeing the faces of children and parents as they stepped into our big top heated cabin to be greeted by the real Father Christmas and his elves.”

The event is a collaboration with Gav Cross Storyteller. He says: “There’s nothing more exciting than the roar of pure joy and laughter from an audience. My magical cousin Father Christmas loved his time at the Roundhouse last year, and he can’t wait to meet the children and their families again with a new festive show.”
