Enjoy The Sounds of Liverpool at St George's Hall


BOST Musicals is set to showcase and celebrate some of the best of Liverpool’s rich musical heritage at St George’s Hall next month.

Claire Sweeney will join the society when it stages The Sounds of Liverpool in the Concert Room at the grade I listed landmark on Sunday, May 8.

They will be joined by a live band and students from Liverpool Theatre School in matinee and evening performances.

The concert programme will include songs from some of the UNESCO City of Music’s homegrown musical stars from The Beatles and Gerry and the Pacemakers to The Real Thing, The Christians, Atomic Kitten and even Ken Dodd.

It will also feature traditional sea shanties and songs from Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers along with Cilla the Musical.

The Sounds of Liverpool is at St George’s Hall on May 8 at 2pm and 6pm. Tickets via the website HERE
