Liverpool music stars led by the RLPO are joining forces for a special Celebration of Zoe’s Place this summer.
The talent-packed concert at the city’s M&S Bank Arena takes place on Thursday, July 17 and will feature acts including Ian McCulloch, Jamie Webster, Rebecca Ferguson, Red Rum Club, The Real Thing and The Zutons.
Tickets go on pre-sale this Thursday, May 15 and on general sale at 11am on Friday, May 16.
The all-star line-up at the waterfront landmark also includes The Piano’s Brad Kella, Ian Prowse, Lightning Seeds, Pete Wylie, Rianne Downey, The Cheap Thrills and The Farm.
And the evening will be hosted by Adam Rowe and Leanne Campbell.
The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra will be conducted by Richard Balcombe as it plays a live soundtrack of the city with the help of the concert’s roster of special guests who will deliver a mix of iconic hits.
There will also be special dance classic performances from the Sense of Sound Choir.
The event, inspired by West Derby-based Zoe’s Place baby and children's hospice - which was saved from closure last autumn after an overwhelming response to a £6.4m fundraising campaign, is being billed as a ‘celebration of community, compassion and resilience – the very spirit Liverpool is built on’.
A Celebration of Zoe’s Place is at the M&S Bank Arena on July 17. Tickets, from £30 for adults and from £15 for under 18s, HERE
