Succour Punch Theatre carries on online

Liverpool-based Succour Punch Theatre is taking to the internet with a political web-play series.

The first online play in the Keep Calm Camera On programme goes live this Friday, June 12.

It follows a video call between a team of local Conservative MPs following the new lockdown restrictions release.

Cassandra is on the verge of breakdown, Pippa is on holiday, Dotty is too ‘left’ to be right and Richard is just clueless.

Creative Ciara O’Neill said: “As always as a company we’re doing what we do best, asking the hard questions, shining a light on injustices but always at the same time giving people the laugh they need.”

Succour Punch’s previous live staged work includes Bojo’s World and Stripped.

Part 1 of Keep Calm Camera On will premiere on Youtube and Facebook via www.succourpunchtheatre.co.uk on June 12 at 8pm.

The company is hoping viewers will donate to watch at paypal.me/SuccourPunchTheatre
