Grosvenor Park open air theatre shows for 2020
Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre has announced its summer 2020 programme.
Audiences can enjoy live performances of Pride and Prejudice, Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew and a new version of Rudyard Kipling’s classic The Jungle Book between July 3 to August 30.
The open-air theatre in the round is now in its 11th season, and takes over the Chester park each summer with a repertory company of actors performing in all three plays.
Previous productions have included Twelfth Night, As You Like It, The Tempest, Macbeth, Swallows and Amazons, Merlin and the Woods of Time, The Secret Garden, Alice in Wonderland and Cyrano de Bergerac.
Austen’s Pride and Prejudice runs from July 3 to August 29, Taming of the Shrew from July 10 to August 29 and The Jungle Book from July 25 to August 10.
