Rita Ora world tour comes to Liverpool Echo Arena

Rita Ora heads for the Echo Arena next spring as part of a world tour.

The record-breaking singer will perform at the venue on Bank Holiday Monday, May 27 towards the end of the three-month tour supporting the release of her second studio album Phoenix.

Tickets are now on sale and cost between £37.90 and £165.60.

The 27-year-old, who sang on Strictly last weekend, said: “I’m so happy to be on tour again. Nothing makes me happier than performing and travelling to see all my fans. It will be first time performing news songs from Phoenix and I can’t wait for you to hear them. I’m looking forward to this tour so much.”

Ora first rose to prominence in 2012 when she recorded the vocals for DJ Fresh’s number one single Hot Right Now.

Over the past six years she has performed on some of the world’s biggest shows and the most prestigious stages, from Glastonbury to The White House and The Vatican, and has recently entered the record books with her latest release Let You Love Me becoming her 13th Top 10 on the Official Singles Chart.

It means she set a new UK chart record for the most Top 10 singles by a British female artist, overtaking Shirley Bassey and Petula Clark, who each lay claim to 12 Top 10 hits.

She has also sold seven million singles, enjoyed a number one platinum-selling debut album, and of her 13 top ten singles, five have received platinum status and five are gold certified. Her latest five hits have amassed over a billion Spotify streams worldwide, with global hit Your Song reaching more than 352m streams alone.
