Students from the city’s LMA will join them as backing dancers and singers in the show which will be choreographed by the college’s Stephanie Wallace Carr.
Tickets for the May 5 and 6 concerts are £18.90-£49.50 and are on sale now.
Fame the TV series ran from 1982-87, and The Kids From Fame group featured a number of the starring actors. They released a self-titled album which spent a total of 12 weeks at the top of the UK charts, making it the second most successful album of 1982.

Stephanie says: “Fame is why I am where I am today. I’ve done some amazing jobs and it’s because of the inspiration of Fame. We were obsessed with it in our house!
"It’s such an honour to do this, and I’m going to be star-struck, especially when I meet Erica.
“And of course, this is also fantastic for LMA and our students.”
Net proceeds will go to Claire House which has hospice sites in Wirral and Liverpool.
Fame UK Reunion is at the Echo Arena on May 5-6 2019. Tickets from the website HERE.
