The Feis Liverpool headline acts and ticket details


Shane MacGowan has been announced as joining a starry line-up playing at Liverpool’s new Irish music festival The Feis which is being staged on the Pier Head this summer.

Van Morrison will headline the July 7 event.

The Chieftans, Imelda May, The Hothouse Flowers, Therapy?, The Coronas, Mary Coughlan, Dublin Legends (the Dubliners), Damien Dempsey and Liverpool’s Nathan Carter are also among those set to appear at the festival, part of Liverpool 2018 celebrations.

It is being organised by Vince Power, founder of Mean Fiddler and the man behind the Fleadh as well a Leeds/Reading and Tribal Gathering among others.



He says: “I’m proud and delighted to bring The Feis to Liverpool, a great city with such strong ties to Ireland. I’ve always wanted to do an Irish music festival here.

“We have a fantastic line-up and this event will bring together the finest, most celebrated Irish musicians in a marvellous festival atmosphere. This is the biggest line-up of Irish artistes Liverpool has ever seen.”

Liverpool has been dubbed the second capital of Ireland, and more than 50% of Liverpudlians can trace their heritage back to the island.

The Feis is at Liverpool’s Pier Head on July 7. Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster or on The Feis website HERE
