Derren Brown Underground at Royal Court Liverpool

Derren Brown is returning to Liverpool – and this time he’s bringing his mindbending show to the Royal Court.

Derren Brown Underground comes direct to the city from a successful run in the West End.

The production is directed by Andrew Connor and Andy Nyman (Ghost Stories at the Playhouse), is a ‘best of’ compilation of the psychological illusionist’s recent stage shows, and promises "a spell-binding experience of magical genius and epic showmanship".

The 46-year-old’s live shows have won him two prestigious Olivier Awards – Something Wicked This Way Comes in 2006 and Svengali in 2012.

He has played to more than 1.5 million people at sold-out houses across the country every year since 2003, and his previous UK shows, Infamous (2013, 2014) and Miracle (2015, 2016), have toured to great success as well as enjoying critically acclaimed seasons in the West End

Meanwhile he recently made his stage debut at the Atlantic Theater in New York with Derren Brown: Secret.

Royal Court executive producer Kevin Fearon said: “Every year this building progresses both in terms of how it looks and the talent that we have on stage.

"To be able to attract such a big name in the world of entertainment is fantastic news for us as an organisation building. It's also great for me personally because I'm a big fan and I have reserved myself some front row seats!”

Derren Brown Underground is at Royal Court Liverpool from April 3-7. Tickets from the website HERE
