Royal Court return for musical Mam! I'm 'Ere!

The cheekily-named Mam! I’m ‘Ere! is returning to the Royal Court stage in 2018 it has been announced.

Life in Theatre Productions, whose founder Stephen Fletcher originally created the disco musical, are teaming up once again with the Roe Street venue to stage the popular show.

Sally was left on her dad’s doorstep one cold and windy Liverpool night. Now, 25 years later, she has met the love of her life on her dad’s failing disco holiday campsite in Wales. There is just one person missing from her wedding plans – her mam. After teasing out stories from her dad's best mates she narrows her search down to three very different women from his past...

If you think the story sounds vaguely familiar, you’d be right. But never fear because the producers of smash West End hit Mamma Mia! have given the producers their blessing.

The show was last performed at the Royal Court in 2015, and the theatre’s executive producer Kevin Fearon says: "We had such fun with Mam! I’m ‘Ere! last time that I promised myself that we would bring it back.

“The music in the show makes it impossible to resist for audiences who are up for a good night out. Stephen is someone who we have worked with many times before and we are made up to be working with him again.”

Mam I’m ‘Ere is at Royal Court Liverpool from July 13 to August 11 and tickets are on sale from the website HERE
