The Script are heading for Liverpool Echo Arena

The Script have made a date for the Echo Arena to coincide with their new album Freedom Child.

The band will return to the Liverpool waterfront venue on February 12.

Freedom Child was released on September 1, and has already topped the UK album chart, making it the Irish group’s fourth number one album. And the single Rain went straight in to the top 10 on iTunes.

The album was recorded in both London and LA, with The Script working with outside writers and producers for the first time.

All in all, since they formed in Dublin in 2007, The Script – Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power - have sold 29 million records, achieved three platinum albums in the UK and four in the US, and have headlined more than 200 live shows, playing to in excess of 1.4m people.
