Brian Wilson returns to Liverpool with Pet Sounds

Singer-songwriter legend Brian Wilson returns to Liverpool this week to perform Pet Sounds and more.

The 75-year-old will appear at the waterfront Exhibition Centre on Friday as part of the city’s 50 Summers of Love season of events and in one of only three dates in the UK this year.

Wilson played at the Philharmonic Hall last year in a show that featured songs from the iconic 1966 album, including God Only Knows and Wouldn’t It Be Nice, as well as some of the Beach Boys greatest hits.

Friday’s concert will again include Beach Boys co-founder Al Jardine and The Flames and laterally Beach Boys singer and guitarist Blondie Chaplin, plus a special rare cuts and greatest hits finale.

Expect a blend of pop, psychedelia, complex melodies and tight harmonies.

Brian Wilson is at Exhibition Centre Liverpool on Friday, July 28. Tickets HERE.
