Katy Perry tour coming to Liverpool Echo Arena

Katy Perry is set to return to the ECHO arena next year.

The music star will bring her Witness tour to Liverpool on Thursday, June 21 as part of a series of dates in the UK and Europe. Tickets go on sale next week.

WITNESS: The Tour is the 32-year-old Californian’s first run since the sold-out, 151-date Prismatic World Tour, which concluded in 2015 and was hailed by Rolling Stone as "a show to damage retinas and blow minds."

Katy Perry made her Capitol Records debut with 2008’s One of the Boys, after signing to the label in 2007. She confirmed her global superstar status with the follow-up album Teenage Dream two years later, while the 2013 album PRISM debuted at number one on iTunes in 100 countries and has sold more than 12.5 million 'adjusted' albums worldwide.

In her 10 years with Capitol, she has seen more than 18 billion streams alongside worldwide sales of more than 40 million adjusted albums, and 125 million tracks.

Perry is no stranger to the ECHO arena having performed there several times, including at the MTV Europe Awards in Capital of Culture year.

Tickets for Witness on June 21, 2018 go on sale on Friday, June 9 and are limited to six per person. To book, log on to www.echoarena.com/katyperry
