'Strictly' stars Aljaz & Janette pay tribute to Fred Astaire
Strictly lovebirds Aljaz Skorjanec and Janette Manrara may be stars in their own right thanks to their appearance on the wildly popular BBC Saturday night dance show.
But when they bring their tour to Merseyside this month, it will be celebrating the moves of a bona fide dance legend.
Remembering Fred pays tribute to the late, great Fred Astaire, in an evening that promises 'top hat, white tie and wonderful tales'.
And it also promises some top tunes from the early 20th century songwriters like the Gershwin brothers George and Ira, Cole Porter and Irving Berlin - Night and Day, Cheek to Cheek and Puttin' on the Ritz among them.
The show is at the Philharmonic Hall on April 10. But if you miss it there, never fear, because they are also making an appearance across the water at the Floral Pavilion a couple of weeks later.
And if you're a Strictly fan, you might also want to make a date to see Strictly's married couple the Cliftons at the Philharmonic Hall in June.
Kevin and Karen Dance (on June 8) promises as 12-piece band, backing dancers and "a high-energy performance filled with sassy tunes, heart-pounding choreography and sparkling costumes."
Plus on June 10, Ian Waite and Natalie Lowe bring their 'audience with' show to St Helens Theatre Royal.
Remembering Fred is at the Philharmonic Hall on April 10 and the Floral Pavilion on April 22.
