Sara Pascoe at the Epstein
Comedian, writer and actress Sara Pascoe is returning to the Liverpool stage with her new comedy show Animal.
The 35-year-old will appear at the Epstein Theatre (a favourite for comedians in its previous life as the Neptune) at the end of April.
She is the latest in a string of comedy names who have already brought their shows to the Hanover Street venue in 2017. And theatre manager Rebekah Pichilingi says: "Sara Pascoe entertains millions with her television appearances every week. We can't wait to welcome her for a night of fantastic, live stand-up comedy."
Animal follows the publication last year of Pascoe's first book, Animal: The Autobiography of a Female Body, exploring the evolution of, well, the female body.
Her live show considers further issues such as - are humans naturally bad? Do we really have to die? And should she have a baby?
But as the comedian says herself, if that all "sounds a bit weighty there will also be stuff about selfies, glow worms and RuPaul's Drag Race". So that's all right then.
Sara Pascoe is at the Epstein Theatre on April 28. Tickets are £13 from the website HERE
