The Beatles Story has launched a special new VIP experience for the Fab Four’s biggest fans.

VIP visitors will have the chance to get up close and personal with highlights from the Royal Albert Dock-based attraction’s Beatle artefacts – such as the opportunity to peer through John Lennon’s glasses and have a photo taken with George Harrison’s first guitar.

Those of the two-hour exclusive and intimate tour could also be able to sit at Ringo’s drumkit and to hold Brian Epstein’s briefcase. Artefacts or experiences included in the tours may vary.

They will also be treated to drinks and canapés and a guide will be on hand to lead them through the museum and answer any questions.

The tours, costing £170 per person, are due to start next month and will take place on selected dates throughout the year.

General manager Mary Chadwick says: "We’re offering our fans an opportunity to experience The Beatles Story in a new and exciting way. We’re proud of our impressive memorabilia collection here at the museum, and we're so excited to be able to share it with visitors in a unique way for 2026 and beyond.

"This exclusive VIP tour gives fans a once-in-a-lifetime chance not only to delve deeper into the fascinating stories behind our memorabilia collection, but to see our artefacts up close and personal too.”

The Beatles Story was opened in 1990 and over the past 35 years the leading Liverpool attraction has welcomed more than six million visitors from home and abroad.
