Liverpool Art Fair 2026 showcases record number of artists

Liverpool Art Fair has returned to the Royal Liver Building – and the 2026 event is the largest to date.
The annual celebration of the region’s artists showcases work by 245 different painters, sculptors, printmakers and creatives from today, June 12, to July 26.
Entrance to the fair is free and all work is for sale, with prices starting at just £25 and with a large selection for £250 or under.
The fair, now in its 12th year, is run by Liverpool’s dot-art which is marking its 20th anniversary in 2026.
Liverpool Art Fair started at Camp and Furnace in 2012, and over its 12 editions it has promoted the work of more than 2,700 artists and has attracted almost 70,000 visitors.
The works in the 2026 art fair were selected from hundreds of submissions by artists who live or work within a 35-mile radius of Liverpool.
This year’s judges were Joe Brooks, Executive Director of Audiences and Media at National Museums Liverpool; Sarah Lovell, Lead Officer for Culture at Liverpool City Region Combined Authority; sculptor Faith Bebbington, who has worked from her Liverpool studio since 1993, and arts professional and broadcaster Angela Samata.

Alongside the exhibition there is also a programme of creative workshops in partnership with Cass Art, giving visitors the chance to try their hand at a range of techniques throughout the summer, as well as free, informal talks from exhibiting artists every weekend.
Meanwhile visitors have the opportunity to vote for their favourite artwork with the winner of the People’s Choice receiving a prize package.
dot-art managing director Lucy Byrne says: “Twelve years in, and what strikes me most is how consistent the appetite for this event has been. We’ve grown, the artists have grown, and the audiences keep coming back and bringing new people with them.
“A record 245 artists this year feels like a real milestone, but what matters most is that someone will walk in off the street, fall in love with a piece of art, and take it home. That’s what this has always been about.”
