John Bishop brings 25 to Liverpool on 2025 anniversary tour

Liverpool comedy superstar John Bishop is taking to the road in 2025 to mark 25 years of stand-up - and he’s bringing his live show to the M&S Bank Arena.

All seats for the tour, which arrives on the Liverpool waterfront on October 24 next year - and now includes an additional date on October 25, are priced at £25.

With venue booking and facilitation fees they come to £31.

It was in October 2000 that the then 33-year-old pharmaceutical company rep first stepped on stage at the Frog and Bucket in Manchester in front of a handful of audience members.

Now quarter of a century on he’s an award-winning household name who fills arenas, and along with stand-up he is also an actor (one early stage appearance was as a henchman in a Royal Court panto), presenter and charity fundraiser who has collected millions for good causes.

To mark the anniversary Bishop is embarking on a 16-date nationwide live tour – his tenth – with one night on ‘home’ turf.

Bishop says: “I can’t believe that next year it will be 25 years since I first performed at the Frog and Bucket in Manchester. It’s been a rollercoaster. And I can’t thank fans enough who have supported me all the way.

“I wanted to mark the anniversary with a new tour and do something to say thank you. So every ticket throughout the tour will be £25.”
