Steve Price conjures Magic on the Mersey at Aloft Liverpool

Magician Steve Price promises to mix world class conjuring with a good dose of comedy when he brings his new live show to Liverpool this autumn.

The cruise ship favourite may have been on extended shore leave since the Coronavirus pandemic took hold earlier this year, but he hasn’t been sitting twiddling his thumbs.

Instead he has devised Magic on the Mersey, an astonishing new (Covid-safe) show promising ‘gasps behind the masks’ which he is now due to premiere at Liverpool’s Aloft hotel in North John Street fortnightly from Saturday, October 24.

Hoylake-based Price explains: “Audience numbers are very limited for each show and everything is being done within Covid-19 guidelines.

“This means that while audience interaction is somewhat limited, it can still happen. So instead of being asked to ‘take a card’, people will simply be asked to ‘think of a card’ instead.

“It just makes the impossible even more impossible!"

The hour-long show without an interval will be staged in the hotel’s James Doyle Suite where audience members are invited to ‘dress to impress, and let the cruise come to you’.

Steve Price is a gold star member of the Inner Magic Circle and has been entertaining crowds on five-star luxury cruise liners for the last 15 years.

Magic on the Mersey takes place at Aloft Liverpool at 6pm and 8.30pm every other Saturday from October 24. Tickets from £16.50 HERE
