New Liverpool dates for Everybody's Talking About Jamie

West End smash hit musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie has moved its Liverpool Empire dates to the autumn.

The award-winning show was due to make its first visit to the city next month.

But with ongoing uncertainty over when theatres might be able to reopen because of the coronavirus pandemic, the show is now currently scheduled to run from October 27-31.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie tells the story of 16-year-old Jamie New who lives on a council estate but doesn’t quite fit in.

Supported by his loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness, into the spotlight.

The show features songs by Dan Gillespie Sells, lead singer-songwriter of The Feeling, and book and lyrics by writer Tom MacRae.

Layton Williams will reprise his acclaimed West End performance as Jamie, while fellow cast member Shane Richie will appear as Hugo/Loco Chanelle.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie comes to the Liverpool Empire from October 27-31. Ticket details HERE
