Look behind the scenes at Liverpool Everyman

The Everyman is throwing open its doors this Saturday for its annual Open House event.

There will be the chance to take a peek behind the scenes at the Hope Street theatre with a series of events and activities from noon to 4pm.

Some activities, such as backstage tours, are best booked in advance on the website although a limited number of on-day tickets will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

There is also a chance to see inside the rehearsal room and hear from some the cast of Our Lady of Blundellsands – along with writer Jonathan Harvey and director Nick Bagnall. Tickets in advance and a limited number of the day.

The afternoon also includes a look at the wardrobe department, exploring the writers’ programme and getting an insight in to stage management, along with storytelling, face painting and other family friendly activities.
