Liverpool Winter Arts Market 2019 date revealed

The popular annual Winter Arts Market is on its way back to Liverpool Cathedral.

The event, organised by Open Culture and featuring craftsmen and women from across the region and beyond, will be held this Saturday, December 7.

Around 200 stalls featuring the work of artists, designers and makers will be set up in the nave and well of the cathedral, as well as in the crypt where artisan food and drink will be for sale.

A vintage fair and Kids’ Lab will also be on offer, as well as music.

Pick up unique festive trimmings or hunt for Christmas presents among the handmade jewellery, original prints, paintings, ceramics, beauty products, colourful decorations and homewares, accessories, clothing, photography, knitwear, and artisanal food and drink.

Open Culture director Charlotte Corrie said: "The event is the biggest celebration of independent artists and makers in the region, and we’re thrilled to present the work of more than 200 homegrown creatives in such an iconic venue.

“Each year thousands of people come to purchase original works and soak up the festive atmosphere, and this year will be no different. Expect stalls from emerging artists alongside seasoned favourites, and always beautiful, affordable and high-quality creations.”

The Winter Arts Market is at Liverpool Cathedral on Saturday, December 7 from 10am to 7pm. Entry on the door is £3 for adults and free for children under 16.
