Liverpool International Horse Show rides in to arena for fifth year

Liverpool’s annual horse show is set to return to the city’s waterfront for a fifth year.

Tickets for the TheraPlate UK Liverpool International Horse Show – which runs from December 28-31 at the M&S Bank Arena – are on sale now.

And there will be an early bird offer for equine fans who can save 20% off the full £31.35 ticket price if they book before the end of June.

Organisers have promised the 2019 event will be bigger than previous years.

The four-day festival will feature a host of world class showjumping and equestrian sport, and the popular Shetland Pony Grand National, along with family entertainment and music.

Competitors will battle for their share of the 200,000 Euro prize fund including the exciting final leg of the Eventing Grand Prix, which has qualifiers at Bolesworth International and the new Bolesworth Young Horse Championships.

Frenchman Gilles Fortier and his team will return with their stunt horses as a part of the show’s exclusive act Electric Storm; a circus themed fusion of horses, pyrotechnic dance, silk artists, aerial acrobats and stunning lighting effects and more.

And performing throughout the show this year will be The Kings featuring Mitchel Emms from TV show The Voice who will also showcase a special set alongside the New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Promoter Nina Barbour said: “We had an incredible show in 2018 and have taken the opportunity to listen to feedback from our audience to come back with a show that’s fresh, fun and full of surprises.”

All tickets also give access to the show's shopping village from 9am each day.
