Live music, local delicacies, arts stalls and entertainment will be on offer from 4-11.30pm.

Liverpool artists Marc Kenny, Jade Thunder and Redhouse will take to the Palm House stage where the setlist will be a Liverpool greatest hits from The Beatles to Cilla Black and The La’s.

And city-based artisans and artists including Sean Webster Illustration, DoorPlaque, Freida McKitrick, Clare Ellis and Isabella Daisy Designs will show off their work at stalls inside the building.

Palm House visitor experience manager Kate Martinez said: “Recognising Liverpool’s proud history and traditions, Global Scouse Day at Sefton Park Palm House is an event for the whole community to come together to enjoy local music, food, drink and good company under the Palm House roof.

"Celebrating all that our city has to offer, our event is one that can’t be missed.”

Global Scouse Day takes place on February 28 each year and celebrates the city of Liverpool, its achievements and of course its famous signature dish which will be served in cafes, restaurants, hospitals, schools and even on Virgin trains.
