Winter Arts Market returns to Liverpool Cathedral
The Winter Arts Market takes place in Liverpool Cathedral this weekend, bringing together around 200 crafts men and women from across the North West.
The annual event is expected to attract thousands of pre-Christmas shoppers looking for something a bit different for the festive season.
Stalls will take over the nave and the well at the grade I listed sandstone landmark, while there will also be a local food producer fair, vintage basement, craft workshop for young ones organised by the Super Silly Scientists, and live music.
Festive decorations, clothing, photographs, prints, wood carving, glassware, jewellery, textiles and handmade beauty products are among the thousands of items which will be on sale.
The event is organised by Open Culture, and director Christina Grogan says: “This will be our ninth Winter Arts Market and we’re so happy to present the public with an alternative shopping experience this Christmas. We’ve hand selected over 200 of the best artists, makers, food producers and vintage traders in the region.”
The Winter Arts Market is at Liverpool Cathedral from 10am to 7pm on December 2 and entrance is £3 on the door. Under 16s go free.
