Liverpool Improvathon is back - and it needs your help

The Liverpool Improvathon is back!

Impropriety is presenting the 2017 event, the eighth annual Improvathon, at the Invisible Wind Factory over the weekend of May 13-14.

This year's theme is The Space Age, and it will unfold in two-hour episodes from 1pm on May 13 to 10.37 the next evening - adding up to 2017 minutes of intergalactic fun.

Tickets are £6 per episode, or £30 for a pass that allows you to come and go - or stay - for the entire weekend, while there is also a Children's Hour at 11am on May 14, suitable for youngsters. More on www.impropriety.co.uk

But this year the troupe of improv daredevils needs the public's help to stage the madcap entertainment.

Due to a sharp rise in the cost of putting on the annual event (described as "dramatic and unavoidable"), Impropriety has launched a Crowdfunder campaign to help finance the event.

And every pound it raises will also mean it can free up money to continue its outreach work with school and community groups.
