Bordeaux Wine Festival returns to Liverpool waterfront for 2019

The Bordeaux Wine Festival is set to return to the Liverpool waterfront for 2019.

The award-winning inaugural event took place last year as part of the Tall Ships and Mersey River Festival.

It will run from May 31 to June 2 promising a selection of world-class wines from the Bordeaux region along with accompanying food.

This year’s River Festival promises a varied programme of entertainment along the waterfront, inspired by the city’s maritime history as a globally-significant port.

The Liverpool outreach of the famous Bordeaux Fête Le Vin was named winner of NOEA Award’s Best New Event 2018.

General admission tickets for each of the three days are £21.50, and include eight tastings. And there will also be additional wine available to buy at the event.
