Moonlight Flicks come to Claremont Farm for Wirral film fans


Wirral’s Claremont Farm is teaming up with Storyhouse’s successful Moonlight Flicks to offer film fans two weekends of open-air cinema in October.

Wrap up warmly to watch modern classics like The Greatest Showman and Jurassic Park on the special 30ft airscreen.

Cinemagoers will also be able to enjoy a bar and street food, as well as fire pits and live music during the screenings on October 9 and 11 and 16-16.

The Greatest Showman is being shown at 7pm on Friday, October 9 while Fantastic Mr Fox offers fantastic family film entertainment at 6.30pm on Sunday, October 11.

Meanwhile the programme for the following weekend features Jurassic Park on Friday, October 16 at 7pm; black comedy Knives Out at 6.30pm on Saturday, October 17, and Coco on Sunday, October 18 at 6pm.

Tickets are £12.50 with 10% off for Storyhouse members. Car parking is free on site and gates open an hour before the films begin.

Storyhouse film and digital programme manager Nicky Beaumont Film and Digital said: “This will be a rare treat for film fans and for people who want to get outdoors and experience autumn in the gorgeous setting of Claremont Farm.

“Wrap up in warm coats and wellies and watch a film beneath an autumn starry sky. Bliss!”

Moonlight Flicks is at Claremont Farm in Old Clatterbridge Road, Bebington on October 9 and 11 and 16-18. Booking HERE
