The Book of Mormon announces new Liverpool dates

The Book of Mormon has become the latest show to reschedule its dates at the Liverpool Empire because of the ongoing Coronavirus crisis.

The smash hit musical was due to visit Lime Street this summer until the pandemic struck.

Now it has moved its residency at the Empire to form part of its 2021 tour dates.

The show will run for three-and-a-half weeks from June 29 to July 24 next year.

People who had already booked tickets will be contacted by the theatre to move their bookings to the new dates.

And fans of the outrageous, multi-award winning comedy who have not yet bought seats are being given the chance to snap up any currently unsold tickets with priority booking open today, and general booking open tomorrow at 12 noon.

The Book of Mormon follows a pair of Mormon boys sent on a mission to a place that’s a long way from their home in Salt Lake City.

Since its world premiere at New York’s Eugene O’Neill Theatre in 2011, the musical has been performed on three continents and won more than 30 international accolades – including four Oliviers - as well as nine Tony Awards.

The Book of Mormon will be at the Liverpool Empire from June 29 to July 24 2021. More HERE
