Liverpool Sound City new dates for 2020

Liverpool Sound City 2020 has been postponed until later in the year.

The annual event – the UK’s leading independent festival for new music – always takes place at the start of May, and this year was due to be held in venues across the Baltic Triangle from May 1-3.

But because of the ongoing uncertainty over the Coronavirus pandemic, the three-day festival has now been rescheduled for the weekend of September 25-27.

Sound City sees established names perform alongside local, national and international emerging music talent.

This year’s event is set to feature Pale Waves, Stealing Sheep, Tim Burgess, The Mysterines, Marika Hackman, The Blinders and Friendly Fires. Slight alterations to the line-up may take place between now and September.

All tickets which have already been bought are valid for the new dates.
