Threshold Festival bows out with stellar 10th anniversary line-up

Threshold Festival takes place next month – and this 10th anniversary is also set to be the final ‘edition’ of the annual grassroots cultural event.

Festival organisers have revealed a packed line-up for the two-day event which will be staged in the Baltic Triangle on April 3-4.

Dozens of artists and musicians are set to appear including Delilah, Science of the Lamps, Ooberfuse, Nick Ellis, Chinchilla, The Lutras, Empathy Test, Robyn Woolston, Ben Youdan, Wendy Williams, Max Mallender, Nana Funk, The Soul Rays and Blue Saint.

Road Studios in Cains Brewery Village will stage a site-specific installation Inside the Wardrobe, while Unusual Art Sourcing Company will present its multi-award winning, internationally famous pop-up life drawing around the festival.

Meanwhile Steve Levine will talk about The Art of Music Production with Chris Hawkins.

Threshold was founded in 2011 by Kaya and Chris Herstad Carney who wanted to celebrate the city’s grassroots music and artists.

Weekend tickets for Threshold 2020 are £15 in advance or £20 on the date. Day tickets are £9 for Friday, April 3 and £13 on Saturday, April 4.
