Saturday Night Fever brings disco to Liverpool Empire

How deep is your love for Saturday Night Fever?

Because the disco-tastic musical which pulses to the beat of Bee Gees’ classics is coming to the Liverpool Empire as part of a new UK tour.

Liverpool impresario Bill Kenwright is the man behind the new stage version of the musical which made John Travolta a star of the big screen 40 years ago.

The show tells the story of working class Italian-American Tony Manero, who is fed up with being stuck in a dead-end job, and his determination to dance his way to success in the nightclubs of 1970s Brooklyn.

And it promises more drama and more music as it revisits the story four decades on.

Saturday Night Fever features some of the Bee Gees’ best-known, best-loved numbers including Stayin’ Alive, How Deep is Your Love, Jive Talkin', Tragedy and Night Fever, as well as other top 70s tracks.

So dig out the white suit, dust off the flares, get the disco ball twirling and throw some shapes with Tony, Stephanie, Annette et al.

Saturday Night Fever is at the Liverpool Empire from September 11-15. Tickets from the website HERE
