Step back to the 1980s at the Echo Arena

Go West and the one and only Chesney Hawkes have been added to the line up of a special show celebrating the 80s and coming to the Echo Arena.

Music fans are going to want to dig out their leg warmers, lace gloves and New Romantic ruffles for the StepBack 80s Concert which will take place at the waterfront venue on October 28.

And the new names are in addition to a stellar list of stars from the decade including Paul Young, ABC, Bonnie Tyler, T’Pau, Tony Hadley and Katrina from Eurovision winners Katrina & The Waves.

Tickets cost £55.

Dan Nelmes, managing director at concert promoter Showtime Live, says: “Eighties music is continuing to experience a revival – it was a fun, upbeat era and that is reflected in some of the acts and music that will be on display at Echo Arena Liverpool.

“This concert offers something different by packing in some iconic acts of the 80s who will be performing back-to-back under one roof.

“Each artist will be performing their famous anthems, making it a night that will appeal to more than just 80s lovers.”
