Wanted for seasonal work – one Princess. Lamp and magic carpet provided.

The team behind Aladdin at the Auditorium at the Echo Arena this Christmas are on the hunt for the perfect person to take on the royal role, playing Princess to Collabro singer Michael Auger’s Aladdin.

Leanne Campbell, Dean Sullivan, Britain's Got Talent's Ruby Murry and Mark Jones are also in the cast of the panto which opens at the waterfront venue on December 15.

Aladdin tells the story of humble washer woman Widow Twankey’s son who falls in love with the Princess, but also falls in to the clutches of the evil Abanazer who uses him to find a genie who will grant him three wishes.

Producer and director James Shone says: "This is a brilliant opportunity for a local actress to perform in this fantastic production. I'm looking forward to the auditions and I can't wait to choose our Princess. This year's show is going to be spectacular."
